I had a brief power outage last night. There was a loud bang in the alley. Upon investigation I found the deceased culprit (a chipmuck) on the ground beneath a blown fuse. Kudos to #ExcelEnergy. There was a truck here within half an hour, and took just 5-10 min to replace it.

This had the side effect of frying my #pfSense router. It was an old-old Dell Optiplex that didn't boot back up again when power was restored. During testing the power supply started to blast out magic smoke! I had all the parts on hand to build a replacement minus a motherboard. 2 trips to #Microcenter later (first mobo didn't have 2 long pcie slots) and after much rebuilding I'm back in business.

Hence, soclal.electrafish.tech had about 28 hours of down time.
