@geniodiabolico I hadn’t thought about it that way! But my thinking is that its name really is X, and calling it by any other name hides the awful truth of it. We need the honesty of using its true name

@brentsimmons Each to their own. I don't think the awfulness is contained in the name and it squicks me out to know why he loves the letter X so much. Your original point is pretty well observed. That might be what those dickheads liked about it. After all, his grandfather was so racist that he emigrated to South Africa in order to **support** apartheid.

@nightoo I see your point but disagree strenuously. Calling it Twitter these days makes it seem harmless, as if it’s still really Twitter at heart, just in disguise.
But it’s not. It’s X. Twitter has left the internet forever.
