The BBC just announced a two part documentary on JK Rowling

"her rise to fame and bitter exchanges online"

"Scottish independence, trans rights, and gender identity"

brace yourself for a painful attempt to fence sit on whether trans people deserve equality and dignity or genocide and conversion therapy

'is this transphobic? who's to say' :blobfoxfacepalm:

@normjess I wonder how much she’s getting paid? I hope they have the lawyers going over every syllable, because the #TERF in her mouldy castle loves to sue people. Why would the #BBC take the risk, unless it’s going to be a promotion of her great ‘literary skills’ and her transphobic hate?

@Christo_459 @normjess I wouldn’t watch anything with that bitter, twisted, hate-monger in it. Wish I could get a refund on my licence fee for the time shes going to be on air.

@normjess jk rowling is a sad and lonely billionaire who made it her hobby to hate an entire group of people for no reason and make their existence illegal.

She could have cured world hunger or gave money to cancer charities, but instead she contributes to the suffering of some of the world's most miserable people.
