But.
Much as I dislike AI, there is no reason in principle why data centres can't be powered by renewables.
@mike I agree, but POSIWID wins here for now.
And even if they do, they create massive amounts of ewaste as they burn through the GPUs they buy (it isn't an actual investment in infrastructure, and given how many are being powered by gas on site, it isn't even helping us improve the grid or create more green capacity)

@mike I should do the same, but AFAIK @DeutscherWetterdienst only accepts human first names, so I'd propably have to name it after their CxO's…
- Problem may just be that there ain'f enough women in said positions, and they do aim for a 50:50 parity on that naming convention…
