Muslims and immigrants, despite all the lies we're told about them, have never presented a systemic threat to Western security, let alone to "Western civilisation". Instead, the threats come from our governments, especially in the US, and their grim alliances with capital and overseas dictators.

Indian Supreme Court rules that cancer drug markups are extortionate, orders them to drop
Prices are expected to drop about 70%
Sadly the woman who sued to bring the case to court did not live to see it. RIP Sarojam Radhakrishnan

Today marks the 10th anniversary of when I signed up for this Mastodon account. I would make my first post late that night (technically 12:45 AM the next day).
Today, a small child of a friend ran up to me excitedly, and said "Can I tell you my new joke?".
The joke:
Q. What starts with "D" and has no end?
A. Death.
I was not expecting this.

I had a good relationship with Sepulture after their Beneath the Remains and Arise releases. When they sent a sample of “Refuse/Resist”—which I loved—I was eager to be part of the project for Chaos A.D. 1/5
One of the defining features of the Israeli genocidal assault on Palestinians in the Gaza Strip and the occupied West Bank has been its barbarism towards children.
The Israelis have placed more than half of the Palestinian children they have abducted in solitary confinement at least once, highlighting the systemic nature of the Israeli torture regime targeting minors.
“Of the 635 minors held in prison, 351 were placed in solitary confinement, usually for seven consecutive days and sometimes for as long as two weeks,” according to Haaretz.

@TheBreadmonkey I like how your little profile head seems to be interacting with all your boosty buds. You're a lil snack for skull friend, off for a walk with a bird, a chin-rest for a capybara.

I think we will soon have a diagnosis of PANDAS for one of my children. I have always loved reading about rare conditions. And now, earth-shatteringly, we have one. But I doubt if it's really that rare at all.
If you have a moment, please take it to read up on the condition. It might be your own child, or nephew, or friend's grandchild you're reminded of. Early intervention has made full recovery at least a possibility for us.

I met women who survived the genocide in Bosnia and Herzegovina;
I met survivors of violence, bombings, divorce, harassment, and rape.
I now possess complete strength and love, because I am not the only one who has suffered and witnessed with her own eyes what the world could never believe.
Perhaps now, at the very least, I can live with this reality forever.
