In Kent, in England, there’s a town called Sandwich. Nearby is a village called Ham. Which means that you get this street sign calling out “Ham Sandwich”.

There’s also a bus that starts at Samdwich, goes through Ham, before finishing at the coastal town of Deal.

    English, eh?

An old English signpost situated at the junction of three roads. It has signs pointing in three directions indicating the destinations to be found.

The topmost one, amusingly, lists two destinations:

HAM
SANDWICH

The full sign reads (distances are in miles)

First direction:
NORTHBOURNE 1 1/2
DOVER 9

Second direction:
HAM 1/2
SANDWICH 3

Third direction:
FINGLESHAM 1/2
DEAL 4
