games are the worst, but most times a requirement to use X or Y tech, ar least make it optionally skippable.

Honestly, I'll take a logo (especially in the era of quick resume consoles where you just don't see the opening logos at all when resuming a title) if it means I get access to important tech that I would otherwise have to do without, like spatial audio.

Most Dolby since noise reduction on tape (which added distortion) is pointless.
Mathematically even 4 channels can drive 12 speakers. The 5.1 is gimmick. The 0.1 is low frequency and simply saves a set of filter in the decoder or audio amp. Real HIFi Speakers don't even need a subwoofer. That's for tiny speakers, sound bars or small bookshelf speakers with an 85 Hz cut-off.Mashiro Sakurai is also saving on royalties!

First thing I do before launching any game on PC is look for the instructions for how to skip the logos and intro movies. I don't care what engine, what middleware, what surround sound, what publishers. Just get me to the game.

@ko unskippable is the keyword there that I think we should make optional to skip
