Since I've been in the queue for getting a Steam Controller for quite some time I never imagined I would get accepted into the Steam Machine one this year and added myself into the list "just in case", but got the e-mail yesterday and I'm not really sure. Really overpriced but tempting at the same time, anyone has one and want to talk me out of it (or into it?).

I'm sorry, so the solution for the slow software is not to optimize, but boost the CPU frequency?? Sure that will temporarily help, but the underlying problem remains, like painting over mold, selling the house and leaving the issue for someone else.

Banks are about to loan $500 Billion to build AI data centers & NVIDIA is giving GPUs as collateral with a promise they won’t lose value. Only way they can keep that is if they artificially keep prices high, which might explain why GPUs already in market are rising. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I've said it a couple times, but Steam games with mandatory accounts for other store services to even boot should not be allowed for SP games, not even MP imo, but SP is just crazy.

I highly recommend trying out TaskSlinger (task manager replacement) and Filepilot (explorer replacement) to make everyday tasks on Windows faster and less cumbersome. Finally Everything (voidtools) for blazing fast search.

I had no idea Developer Digital was a public company now, looks like they are trying to get out after losing 91% of value since 2021. But also mainly want to get rid of shareholders expectations which I think is a good thing.

games are the worst, but most times a requirement to use X or Y tech, ar least make it optionally skippable.

3 years and somehow many companies are still betting their future and fingers crossed Unity doesn’t pull another reverse card.

Props to the devs for spending almost 2 years trying to solve a bug that wasy even their fault. Just imagine that, 2 years! And they had to send Nvidia a PC for that to happen.
