Claude Code has about 15,000 open issues - of which ~2/3rds are labeled as bugs - in a code base that was around 500 KLOC when the source leaked.
But sure, tell us again about your amazing code review tool.

@culturednyc I usually have a hard time with Tom Cruise since his teeth clamor for the spotlight so intensely
“The Alberta Prosperity Project chose the location to accommodate its guests, Republican political strategists from Michigan who helped Donald Trump win the state in the 2024 U.S. presidential election.
The American delegation travelled to Calgary to sell them on software developed for Republicans to get out the vote – and how it could be used to wrench Alberta from Confederation.
“They were young Christians. Capable, intelligent people,” Mr. Sylvestre said. “We prayed before we started the meeting.””

So that’s how I’m using Mastodon today. It very likely is not how you use Mastodon. Hell, it very well may not be how I use Mastodon in the future.
Find your own joy. And don’t spend a second on shit that stresses you out that you DO NOT have to do. Your mental health is too important. I know mine is.

Has the new press secretary been announced and is it Ivanka?
3m ago@sundogplanets retired, financially secure, but I still shop at bulk barn on Wednesday for the senior discount and ask for the coupon off as well. Just having been a self funded student does that to you.
4m ago@r @dalias @hyc @MaddieM4 Apple Silicon does not support Vulkan at all. For those devices, the appropriate abstraction would be not Vulkan but [not sure if I'm breaking an NDA by naming this framework out loud]. On an Android phone I *assume* such a fixed-function block would be exposed to Vulkan via an extension. Or maybe I should be talking about EGL not Vulkan. Dunno.
I do not know what Linux does on Apple Silicon. I think trying to run Linux on Apple Silicon is a fundamentally bad idea.

Man, the energy at the No Kings: Vote Early events in Phoenix I attended was fantastic!
Crazy crowd numbers. I may have to upgrade my status from “cautiously optimistic” to just “optimistic.”
5m agoI vote that we replace deadname with necronym
We just saw Digger, and it was fantastic!
Elements of Beckett, Strangelove, Gilliam.
Great performances all around.

I'm not comfortable with electric blankets after a relative had a fire with an older electric heating pad so my cheap $ store rubber water bottle is the next best thing. I knitted a cover for it which helps hold in the heat as well as protect my skin from the heat. Most mornings it's still a wee bit warm!!
