Good lord, this guy is completely unhinged. I'm tapping out. My one precious life is too short to spend arguing with internet tough-guys. (Remember when I said that I thought he wasn't acting with malice, but was merely making terrible naming decisions? I guess I was wrong.)

Questions

1. Is there a way to just temporarily disable PHP on my server? I tried removing php from apache mods-enabled but Wordpress still is able to serve pages somehow. Not sure if that's the caching system or how it's working.

2. What is the simplest thing I can put into an Apache conf directive, like a <Directory> or <VirtualHost>, to make the site fail to load with a clear, temporary message like a 503?
