  @davidgerard It's so strange that he just goes straight from "catgirl" to "non-sentient partner" like that's a reasonable thing. I don't think there's any example from media where catgirls originate that would imply that they aren't sentient characters, nor do any of the people considering themselves catgirls non-sentient. Just say you want to write about the implications of hyper-realistic sex dolls, there's no shame in it! And of course immediately some evo-psych bullshit follows.
