#EganJones is a credit rating agency. Their whole job is watching the #economy. I leave it to you to determine the severity of any economic report titled “It’s Over”, but I suggest the correct perspective may be to prepare for the coming crash of the long con we call the American economy.
TLDR; Al has advanced so far that the complete disruption of the economy is all but certain, and firms that sell expertise by the hour, senior talent included, are first in line. Expect compressed margins in professional services, lower returns to venture capital and short-term pressure on home prices as screen-based jobs are disrupted.

@MissConstrue right, that's exactly how hype works. It keeps getting repeated as fact by "significant powers" until people stop pushing back on the nonsense. This is the ruling class setting up workers to fail. It doesn't actually have any bearing on reality, it's manufacturing its own reality. It's part of the fascism machine itself.

I dig your overall point, however, my point is, these are being published to the people who make big decisions. This is the info that they are consuming. It will drive markets.

@MissConstrue this is *hype*. Throwing your hands up and going "oh well, they said it so it must be true" is playing into the hype.
You can't claim "eat the rich" and then look at their arbiters for answers

@mxjaygrant again, I think you are missing my point. The money believes this, they are telling you what they believe, and how it will shape their decisions. They are foreshadowing their plans. You can recognize that, and move accordingly, or not. 🤷🏻‍♀️

@MissConstrue Reading that I see someone who is fully buying the AI vendor marketing and fully ignoring the real world struggles of AI adoption. AI disrupt accounting? Sure, if you don't care if you report correct numbers.
