EDIT: Prints and postcards now available!

I really got out of my comfort zone with this one!
I had this idea in my mind for the past week or so and I really wanted to try something drastically different from my usual digital pieces.
I wasn’t sure about it for so long, but I actually love it!

@evansky_arts oh how cute 🤩
@DrJLecter thank you so much!!
@evansky_arts The black bodies of the birds contrast quite pleasantly with the mostly white leaves
@dragomana thank you! The initial idea was to leave them fully white, but it felt too empty, so I tried colouring them and realised the birds didn't pop as much, so I found a middle ground!
@evansky_arts I love this so much. Really enjoying your new art explorations. 😃
@clarissawam thank you!! The way people have been cheering me on is really driving me to more exploring! 💕
@evansky_arts this is happy and fun! Birds and bright colors and playfulness really appeal to me. With this and your pigeons I just look at it and imagine the happy feeling watching birds gives me, with how much personality they have and their quickness and natural elegance mixed with quirkiness. Have you seen kekeflipnote's art? Similar cute bird vibes. Anyway, keep it up if it makes you happy!
@dyani thank you so much for your kind words! I’ve always loved quirky and playful art, but my brain has so much struggle letting go of the arbitrary rules it set itself. I’ve been working all year on dismantling them and going back to FUN.
It can be scary as a full time artist to switch style like this, but I think that if I have fun with art, people will feel it and have fun seeing it too! People’s support through the year has meant so much and I feel like I’ve come so far thanks to them 💕
@gabisim thank you so much!! It really means a lot!
Oct 1, 2026, 9:20 PM@evansky_arts I love blackbirds so much!
@jfml blackbirds are amazing!
Oct 1, 2026, 10:40 PMEeeeee! They're so cute!
@Kishi thank you!!
@evansky_arts this is lovely, and as someone with these cats on my wall, your art made me smile a lot.
@TheRealPomax haha these cats are amazing!!
I'm so glad my art made you smile 💕
@evansky_arts I love it! The colors, the composition, the birds' expression... Everything works perfectly!
@aSweetGentleman Aah thank you so much!!
@evansky_arts :mastolove:
Oct 1, 2026, 11:58 PM@evansky_arts this is so lovely. in case you intend to make prints, consider me interested
@ahihi thank you! I was thinking of making postcards, but I can also make bigger fine-arts prints if you'd prefer!
Oct 2, 2026, 8:04 AM@evansky_arts yeah, i would love an A4 or A3 even ^^
@ahihi noted! I will make A5 and A4 available on my next shop update then! Sadly, A3 is very hard to ship without risking the post office fully destroying it in the process, which is why I only offer A3 on demand and as local pickup :')
@evansky_arts
This turned out great! Simple at first look but complex enough to be interesting and with a bit of whimsy.
@bradsaillard thank you very much!
@evansky_arts this is so adorable, I love it! 😍 😭
@wurzelmann thank you very, very much!!
@evansky_arts What makes it drastically different? Why weren't you sure about it?
@budgegeria the style is very different and much more intuitive (I did not even sketch it), and I'm just not used to it. When working a piece in a style that's not what I'm used to, I have a much harder time imagining what it may look like once it's done!
@evansky_arts So what I understand is, next to a different style, you just started to draw without the usual preparation and pre-work.
This sounds like you had a lot of fun doing that.
@budgegeria mostly I'm experimenting more and drawing more loosely! I try not to overthink, which is not easy haha
And yes, I had a lot of fun!
@evansky_arts adorable!!
@eikaron thank you!
Oct 2, 2026, 2:30 PM@evansky_arts cute!
@DeltaWye thank you!
@evansky_arts I love the colors. The color “systems” of leaves and the birds are in tension, but somehow compatible. It hurts my brain, trying to discern why they match. But they do
@christianrishel thank you very much, it means a lot!! (Ps: don't hurt your brain too much!)
