#SilentSunday

On my way home I helped a poor old lost woman. She had no idea where she was and how to get home. Wrong side of town. I wonder how many wrong trams she'd already taken before she asked me if I can sell her a ticket and I asked her where she wanted to go realizing she was utterly lost and confused. After she'd stepped out of the tram I felt so AWFUL, so I got out at the next station and ran back. She was just sitting there. Staring into empty air. It was heart breaking. I guided her to the station across the road so she would at least drive into the right direction. When the tram came, I talked to the tram driver, alerting him to the fact that he had a confused and lost woman on the tram. I hope she gets home 🥺😔

Weeeeekend

Somewhere in this flat is a tiny tube of super glue. It was lying openly on a cupboard for months till I got annoyed with it just lying there unused. I put it away as usual thinking I'd be putting it in a logical place where I would immediately find it again.

Well. Now I need it and I'm looking for at least two weeks now. I swear I looked into every drawer, every cupboard, every inch of this flat. I have no fucking clue where this fucking glue is.

I think I'm getting a cold. Summer isn't even properly over yet, and here I am with an aching throat and a headache and feeling sorry for myself 😭

I see Mastodon.social is once again causing trouble with their non-existent moderation and inability (or refusal) to deal with spam bot waves causing a lot of headaches for other instances and admins 🙄🙄

If you're on Mastodon.Social, consider moving away. It's a cancer on Mastodon. Growing uncontrolled and painfully big.

Everyone, wish my granny a wonderful 100th birthday. She turns a whole century old today 🥹🫪🎉

(I'm not gonna tell her about it, because she doesn't understand "The Internet" and it would scare her that many strange people wish her a happy birthday 🤣)

But the very best part was @danielgibert's #eclipse button he made just for us. I love it so much. It's perfect and definitely one of the reasons this trip was worth it 🥰

It's of course not the only photo I took. Just. Wow. Look at these. #eclipse

I think I took my most favourite photo ever during the #eclipse.

Former colleague called on short notice for an evening out in the local irish pub. He was with a group of friends and one of them was the worst, most disgusting mysogonistic asshole I've ever had the displeasure of listening to during his drunkenly slurred abusive language towards women. Voiced my displeasure a lot and after I returned home, I texted my friend that he doesn't need to bother inviting me if this particular asshole is present. Also told him that their group of friends has the responsibility to tell him to shut the fuck up.

Side note: my colleague's girlfriend doesn't like the dude and called him "suspect". Women know these things.

Colleague was just here to take notes. She offered to water my plants while I'm on vacation. At the end she had a whole A4 page full of notes and I'm wondering if she regrets the offer now 🤣

My vacation is now close enough that I have to be careful not to wear anything I want to take with me, because there's not enough time to do another laundry run 🤪🥳

I think I just witnessed somwone recording a tiktok video on this tram 🤣🤣

I sort the apps on my phone by colour and I absolutely hate when they switch colour schemes with updates. Like. This app has been white with a colourful center for as long as it exists. And suddenly it's BLACK. And now I have to find a spot for it in my Dark Apps folder and also remember it changed spots 🥹☠️

Tonight will be quickly boiled pasta No.1. Capellini are my favorite pasta because they're so thin that they basically just need to look at hot water for a minute and they're done - very practical in this heat (also I love their texture - so pleasing). And then I'll dump cold tomato sauce and cucumbers on top for some refreshing dinner 😅

45 degrees on my balcony 🤣🔥
