At this time, it was called the Ferry Queen, a play on Fairy Queen, the name of an earlier generation of tourist boats on the same canal.

In 1999, it was bought by the Clyde Maritime Trust, and returned to the Clyde in 2002. It was moved to its current location, next to the Riverside Museum, in 2013, and can be seen from the northern approach to the new pedestrian bridge between Govan and Partick.
