Oh, I will. I just started a quick five minute font when I installed Glyphs 4. I got to H!

@Luke Hey that's like a 3rd of the alphabet already done, nice!
The other fonts were more of a passion project for games I like, but after making this font I kinda want to revisit them to make them better, but also… I don't think I need to haha. Definitely learned a lot! - Aug 10, 2026, 6:39 PM
@chriskirknielsen well, that’s positive thinking! I mostly fear going down a path only to find out I need to redo a bunch of work but that’s fonts for you, right?

@fdrc Thank you! I don't really have experience with Inkscape, unfortunately, but it seems supported: https://fontforge.org/docs/tutorial/importexample.html
Might be a matter of habit, but it does feel like a more heavy process, instead of, in my case, copying a shape from Illustrator and pasting it directly into Glyphs. And then Glyphs also has pretty intuitive UI to handle tracking/kerning. I think you definitely can achieve it with FOSS, but it might be a little slower. Glyphs makes it super convenient… at a cost!
