I went down a rabbit hole of maths, rgba values, crying, and relative luminance which is basically maths to make this. It's a background remover specifically for drawings and sketches oh and Jeff is back.

Hello fellow kids! I'm thinking about buying an ergonomical #mouse, ideally wired (but wireless would be fine), to keep the ol' wrist in good shape.
I think it needs to be with a trackball, because as a frequent Apple MagicMouse (charging it sucks, yes) user who scrolls through code and dubious UIs, and pans through artboards in design software, bidirectional scrolling is kind of a must at this point.
First hit I got was the Logitech MX Ergo S, but maybe there's better stuff out there? Thanks!

Update 7: this is Peritel! The specimen page is ready, and the purchase* page is live, but not linked anywhere… yet. Just a few things to figure out and test, and I'll release it to the world.
If anybody wants to have a play with it before it goes live, I can do a secret link, but this is not the GTA VI of fonts, so maybe we'll just wait it out eh?
I'll also write up a blog post about the process a little later.

Update 6: the specimen page is coming along! Now I am looking at creating a pangram that isn't the ol' "quick fox", but also isn't the popular (though admittedly very metal) "judge my vow" sentence, all while not repeating too many letters. It's tough!
i'm Very Sad that songkick is now owned by suno. i think i'm going to have to abandon it, but it's so hard to keep track of when artists are touring in my area. :(
