@josephcox I wonder if this will trigger some organizations to explore using local models for things like AI assisted coding. Running an LLM locally on your own hardware would be cheaper, have fewer environmental impacts, and could be better for privacy. It could help to halt this insane centralized build out of data centers that only concentrate power in the hands of a few. Certainly not for everyone but that gaming PC could help you code during the day.
