If I'm honest I don't really think that tornados are the top priority for this kind of vast government spending. There are probably more important projects.

But, I think it's impossible to explain why a Golden Dome for missiles (that might not even work) is a better project than my idea of tornado shelters.

If you would protect "the people" from theoretical missiles from theoretical enemies then why not from real missiles from *real* tornados?
