Heute: Hotel bei Booking dot com raussuchen und dann auf der Webseite des Hotels günstiger (!) buchen. 😇
(Allerdings war bei deren Buchungsdienstleister dann die Anrede verpflichtend und es gab ausschliesslich "Frau" und "Herr" zur Auswahl 🙄, bei Bedarf in Kombination mit diversen (sic!) akademischen Titeln.)

That's because the deposit system is broken, firstly it was designed to be broken, there are millions of € in unreclaimed deposits. Secondly, the point of the deposit system was to reduce waste on the street, if one only accepts cans that are part of the deposit system, one isn't actually addressing the problems they are trying to solve. Lastly, there are deposit systems in the countries from which these supposed criminals are importing their cans. When one works from a position of having a insular national system, without working with the bordering counties, there will be glaring gaps that enterprising entrepreneurs will jump into
Had they actually wanted to solve the issues, they would have listened to people, rather than to the industry, who have a vested interest in seeing it fail

In case anybody else runs the niche #django + #gunicorn combination: In your Django settings, set LOGGING["loggers"]["gunicorn.http.wsgi"] to {"handlers": ["null"], "propagate": False}
Or write a custom logging filter, I am not your boss, but I checked and these are currently the only warnings from gunicorn.http.wsgi.

I buy a paperback whenever I'm going on a long train or plane journey. It just feels like the right thing to do. I look at a screen every day for most of the day, so I think I relate paperbacks to getting away from it all. 🙂
