Today in the wonders-of-AI/nothing-is-sacred category: somebody has built a Nintendo Switch runtime for iOS and Mac that lets you run console titles natively. It [supposedly, I ain’t trying this stuff] runs games such as The Legend of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom and Link’s Awakening at 60fps

@stroughtonsmith ryujinx on Apple Silicon was implemented as a hypervisor, CPU-wise it’s just kind of the same thing. I don’t know if the ABI is close enough that you could just drop in macOS userspace libraries but I could be convinced
