@hipsterelectron @wyatt i dm'd them that i'm willing, we'll see! There are many wonderful fedi artists who could do a better job though!
I still think that @angel should be the one though.

@prahou @wyatt @angel i didn't know how to take their rejection of payment! i think it is really important to value creative work as labor! but that comes from my perspective as a member of the white male engineering class trying to work through my own past mistakes. i think the artist should be free of my imposed structures

@hipsterelectron @wyatt After all this time, despite its immense popularity, nobody offered to buy CUM PUBLISHING from me yet. I don't know why.
bugbearbugbear@indieverse.socialOct 13, 2026, 11:34 AM@prahou @hipsterelectron @wyatt Okay, I'll do the first bid (and publicly, for the transparency's sake) a fiver and a Cadbury egg (when they sell them in supermarkets again)
- Tomášprahou@merveilles.townOct 13, 2026, 11:35 AM
@bugbear @hipsterelectron @wyatt Alright! Let's see if anyone makes a better offer. Good luck!

@prahou @hipsterelectron @wyatt maybe they're satisfied with CUM BOOKS branding: https://cumbooks.co.za/pages/about-us
- Tomášprahou@merveilles.townOct 13, 2026, 12:37 PM
@nina_kali_nina @hipsterelectron @wyatt holy cow, that about section reads like satire, but it's real!
i do notice they refrain from stamping the name on the books though
