Devine Lu Linveganneauoire@merveilles.townOct 6, 2026, 2:27 PM@crc okay, next challenge: pass the console test:
https://wiki.xxiivv.com/etc/varvara.console.test.tal.txtThen that means it should be able to bootstrap Uxntal with drifloon(all it needs is the console device):

@neauoire the console test gives the same visual output as the uxnmin.c, but I do have one issue with assembling: ilo doesn't have a stderr output, so I'll need to work out something for that. As is, I can assemble roms with drifloon, but have to manually remove the "Assembled in xxx bytes" from the resulting output.

@crc Can you write the Console/error port bytes into a file or something like that?

@neauoire I'll probably end up writing the error bytes to the blocks; ilo doesn't have any host filesystem integration in the standard system.

@crc that'd be perfect, you can look at the assembly logs in the block, it's even better :)
