You guys have been so patient with me on my glaze journey. I had a real success today, with no caveats.
I pretty much formulated this glaze from scratch - although I had a glaze recipe from Linda Bloomfield as a starting point. But I achieved two important goals for me: a visually interesting low temperature glaze for eathenware, and using only materials easily obtained in Europe - indeed, all produced by Prodesco in Spain. #pottery #glazes #ceramics

@Karhutar I also made some in yellows, orange and dark red, but they need a little more work. They aren't as visually interesting.

@Remittancegirl It looks like a hedge above a garden wall.
I'll hazard some horticulture and go as far as a *box* hedge - the spotty texture resembles little sub-circular leaves.
(I had a neighbour with a Leylandia hedge once. I approve of earthenware hedges.)
