    im sure with enough time and dedication i can write an ant vineflower task to decompile a whole dependency in some directory, and an lsp which will be able to consume that, which is pretty much all we need to comfortably write minecraft mods

    jdtls needing the lsp client to hook with the compiler instead of doing it itself is bulshit

    @wyatt jdtls is eclipse's lsp built on top of their own tooling

    it doesn't support ant projects and has a lot of weird restrictions (want to have a source view of some compiled dependency ? your lsp client's gotta handle it itself, who cares every other lsp can do it)

    @SRAZKVT ah i see

    yeah ant is better

    eclipse was always a crashy buggy mess when it tried it, ended up using netbeans when i was still doing normal IDE's instead of emacs
