really amazed that the famicom fire emblem shop music came back in fates.

It wasn't especially good in its original incarnation, and I didn't hear it in the SNES remake (Monshou no Nazo/Mystery of the Emblem), Genealogy of the Holy War, or Path of Radiance. So I guess I figured it was just not meant to survive.

But then Fates has this really delightful version of the song. Sorry for how much louder the nes one is than the fates recording

hmm apparently libopus preferably encodes to floating point sample format, interesting. The fixed point format is said to be worse quality and meant for embedded software and might require recompiling libopus to do it.
