They don't look after the dogs during the start explodion and forget completely about them until one is hungry and whines. Only then they remember the dogs existed. One dog got injured so badly, it later dies. They are pretty casual about it and only grieve that they can't breed moon dogs now. WTF Jules, wtf. #literature #JulesVerne
