I am currently listening to #JulesVerne s first book, five weeks in a balloon. Holy crab is this book racist. His other books are too, but this is by far the worst 🤢 #literature

With the help of #archiveorg I was able to access my 16 years (!) old ebook reader and put @susankayequinn 's free #hopepunk / #solarpunk books on it.

Reading them on this old ass reader feels really fitting and makes my heart jump with joy and anticipation.

The dress in question. It looks good in the picture, but I just don't wear it and when I do, I don't like it much.

What to do with my dress? Plz retoot for more opinions.

I have sewn a dress that I don't want to wear any longer.

I could dye it, with the risk of still not liking it.

I could give it away, but its very custom shaped and also has some flaws, so I am shy about it. How would I approach it? It has pockets though so thats a plus.

Or I could disassemble and reuse it, but I already have so much fabric, I would probably not use it for a long time. #sewing

Messed up stuff Jules Verne wrote: in "Around the Moon", the travelers take two "beloved" dogs with them.

They don't look after the dogs during the start explodion and forget completely about them until one is hungry and whines. Only then they remember the dogs existed. One dog got injured so badly, it later dies. They are pretty casual about it and only grieve that they can't breed moon dogs now. WTF Jules, wtf. #literature #JulesVerne

On a more positive note: yay, unlimited data 🏄‍♀️

Day ??? without internet. After replanning my week to work with going to the office every day, my body noped out of it an I got sick.

I now bought an unlimited mobile data pack from my mobile provider for a month.

And here is the real kicker: this is cheaper than a public transport ticket.

Has anyone ever made a pencil skort (not skirt!) ?

i think it could be the perfect garment if it existed. Looking elegant when standing while allowing any pretzel seating position that I can contort into 🤔

I can't find any pattern, does it mean its not possible?
