Oct 22, 2026, 4:07 AMJust updated my home server from #Ubuntu 24.04 to 26.04.1. Went flawlessly. Everything back up and running in maybe 20 minutes. As close to perfect as I could want.

Oct 22, 2026, 6:16 AM@mike I also updated a server to Ubuntu 26.04 yesterday.
It set nothing for DNS in systemd-resolved's configuration so when it came back up it couldn't reach out anywhere. It also didn't swap php8.3 modules out for php8.5 modules when it dropped the 8.3 ones, so I had to re-install a bunch of those.
Could've been worse though, out of everything I had to deal with yesterday, that was by far the easiest.
