There is a long narrow road near where I live that is very mossy and overgrown and, according to the map, leads to a dead end. It also still has sodium streetlights. Sometimes people appear from the road, coming up it, but I never see anyone walk or drive down it.
I can’t seem to take a normal photo of it, either.
The sign is wrong, by the way. The school of theology hasn’t been down there for years.
Oct 15, 2026, 1:49 PM@astronomerritt That's clearly a zone border that you are too low level for.
@Tess God knows what sort of mobs you get down there.
@astronomerritt there's an old-school 30mph speed limit sign on one of my cycling routes and I hope the council never notice. The style of the "3" is exquisite.
@_aD Oh, NICE. I love old road signs.
@astronomerritt if I photograph it they'll notice it. Maybe a sketch is safe?
@astronomerritt definitely some sort of side quest 🤔
@DrJLecter Right? There’s probably some sort of reward down there. It’s signalling “not the main route through this area” pretty hard.
@astronomerritt when you got time you could try to discover the hidden loot during a nice warm summer evening 😁 not sure I'd brave it in winter... And tell people where you went and to send a search party after an hour or two 😆
Oct 15, 2026, 3:14 PM@astronomerritt wake up everyone, new SCP just dropped
@ravenlb gonna start redacting my toots
@astronomerritt Proper hallowe’en spot then!
@HarriettMB It's certainly orange enough!
@astronomerritt
A road to "the other side"? Lol
@bob The other side of what, though? 😆
