Wow! Clocked 14 different birds on the Merlin app in the 10 minutes that i had my breakfast near the birdfeeder. Even caught the geese flying overhead, and this first time Kestrel! Although the songbirds have mostly biffed off into the trees when it showed up.

I'm generally a big ol' Luddite and very anti AI but, dangit, I fucking love the Merlin app so much. I'm sure if I hung out with birders I could gain the knowledge, but I use this app almost daily. That and the feeders have gotten me very attached to the local moochers.

Yellow-rumped Warbler
White-crowned Sparow
House Finch Chestnut-backed Chickadee
Song Sparrow
American Robin
