  @jd I haven't heard of OttawaLookout before, do you like them? The paywall is a little aggressive, but I'd pay $10/month for good local #Ottawa journalism

  It’s a small shop: they have three journalists I believe, headed by Charlie Senack. It started three or four years ago with just one, so they’re slowly gathering speed. They do pretty good work including trying to cover communities away from the downtown core (Orleans, Baarhaven, Stittsville, etc.) and hope to expand more. TBH I don’t subscribe (subscriber fatigue!) so miss out on some of their material. Perhaps I will at some point.
