(I should add though that "connecting things to projectors" is not one of the things included in this set)

@SnoopJ evidence suggests "no" but more research is needed

@ricci The funniest thing about attending X.Org Developers Conferences a couple decades ago was learning that the people writing the graphics drivers couldn't get projectors to work either

@jamey One of my colleagues once started to point us at various bits in the HDMI spec and I considered switching to a screen reader

As part of HDMI spec is to protect video content from (unauthorised as defined by someone) copying, it is more complex than it needs to be.

@jamey @ricci years ago, @irene found herself in a meeting with the National Science Board where everyone had to wait because Vint Cerf couldn't get his internet to work

@jamey @ricci I worked with one of the guys that did extensive work on the Linux Bluetooth subsystem

He didn't use a Bluetooth headset

@jamey @ricci the difference between Praxis and theory. One means that you do something, it works, but you don't know necessarily why. The other is that you know how it should work, but it doesn't necessarily actually work.
A majority of people happily do a mix of the two, of course. They do something, it doesn't work, they don't know why 😜

@ricci Oh actually, connecting to the projector was easy. Turning it on was baffling.
