A few of the interesting first names seen while searching for a grave in the East Bethel, #Vermont cemetery to photograph for a Find-a-Grave request:
Tryphenia, Arvilla, Theophilus, Narcissa, Althera, Philander, Jerusha, Arlieu, Esmar, Oilly, Sophronia, Zabad, Jamin
Found one of the graves requested, Ephraim Peake, at the edge of the woods facing away from the rest of the graves.
The East Bethel cemetery is very poorly maintained, and each time I visit there are more markers that have been knocked over by the people who mow it. Sad.
I recall meeting someone outside of the area who had family buried there and they too complained about its maintenance.

@jessamyn This was my first find! And this marker was trying very hard to not be found. It was at the very back of the cemetery with plants from the woods encroaching, and the grave was facing away from the road and toward the river. I ass-u-me at one point that was prime real estate looking over the river.
