With the help of a good neighbor, @sarahscully and I put up all the hay we will need to feed the sheep over the long #Vermont winter. 🙏 🎉 🐑

Happy 24th wedding anniversary @sarahscully ! Thank you for your love and friendship. You mean the world to me! ❤️

After a break for arepas we are at our sixth — and likely last — craft brew pub of the day at L’amère a boire. Thank you #Montreal

We said goodbye yesterday to one of the sweetest beings we have ever had the pleasure to have known, a wonderful Finn sheep named Annie. Annie came to our farm after retiring from the show ring. Having been handled from when she was a lamb she was docile and loved to pose and be given scritches and treats. She came when called and loved human company. She will be missed by the farmers and her flock. Rest well, sweet Annie.

Lovely double #rainbow after a much-needed rain. #Vermont

If you are able to safely give blood, please do. As a power red donor my next eligible date isn’t until September. The linked article is about the shortage in #Vermont, but this is a challenge everywhere in summer time. People give less frequently due to summer schedules (vacation, etc) but more need arises in summer because of travel and outdoor activities when more accidents occur. Thank you, blood donors!

Found one of the graves requested, Ephraim Peake, at the edge of the woods facing away from the rest of the graves.

The East Bethel cemetery is very poorly maintained, and each time I visit there are more markers that have been knocked over by the people who mow it. Sad.

I recall meeting someone outside of the area who had family buried there and they too complained about its maintenance.

A few of the interesting first names seen while searching for a grave in the East Bethel, #Vermont cemetery to photograph for a Find-a-Grave request:

Tryphenia, Arvilla, Theophilus, Narcissa, Althera, Philander, Jerusha, Arlieu, Esmar, Oilly, Sophronia, Zabad, Jamin

Some of my favorite musicians are playing for me on my front porch. #birds #birdSong

There a MANY things that are troubling about the recent Tulsi Gabbard revelations. The first is that no major news organizations seem to be covering it (Guess the reflecting pool is just too important). The second is that after reading the WaPo article (archived link below) it is apparent that this administration doesn't vet a single person who they nominate for positions no matter what, even the person who was Director of National Intelligence.

I really hope Vinicius Jr tells Mourinho where to shove his racism on day one. #FediFC

@evan do you have any suggestions/recommendations for seafood restaurants in Montreal? My wife has a shellfish allergy so we rarely go to them, but a friend is going to Montreal for the first time and she loves seafood. She's also Italian if that makes a difference in any suggestions you may have. Thanks in advance!

If you want to make America great again start taxing the rich and corporations like they were in the 1950s.

Yet another example of England & the US being separated by a common language* from a BBC Sport headline:

"Two fans get first banning orders for tailgating"

Tailgating in the US is a party in a parking lot before a game -- usually American football -- which comes from the act of opening one's trunk/boot to enjoy food and drink.

Today I learned that in the UK it means entering an event w/o a ticket by riding the tail of someone else going through the ticket gate.
