(I'm fully aware there is zero room for nuance, and yet I'm posting this anyway - here we go!)

Isn't it amazing how the person who says:

"Open source software isn't polished enough for me, and doesn't have the features I want"

    and...

"This OSS project uses #LLMs and #AI , we need to shame them, stop your donations!"

    and...

#AI is useless and solves no problems #noai #noai #noai

    and...

"Hey I can't figure out how to install docker on debian wtf why are there no instructions"

    IS ALWAYS THE SAME GUY

Like...hello frens. I'm your buddy, moderation.

Maybe you need to find a middle ground between "buy sam altman another boat" and "learn how to benefit from a new technology which is solving real problems for some people who need it, and not all of them are brainrot shitheads, and one of them could be you!"

People who use LLMs and say they are losing their skills are choosing to do so. That's like saying "i don't know anything anymore because someone wrote wikipedia".

You know you can use tools to learn? You know you can ask for citations? You know you can ask for guides?
