    @rygorous @aeva I for one still think that coding IS the fun part and that learning is the goal. It’s what drives me and what feeds my soul.

    There are a lot of people like us. The demoscene (just came back from revision) for example is only made of coders coding for coding’s sake. As an art. They are also a great bunch to hang out with.

    @rygorous @aeva But unfortunately in anything related to an actual profession (games, web, etc…) it probably will continue to be filled by slop and people who don’t respect the craft, who see it like the tedious part that should be optimized or skipped.

    I'm ryg/farbrausch. fr-08: the product, flybye, ein.schlag, candytron, zeitmaschine, .kkrieger, theta, debris, many others. Also co-organized Mekka&Symposium 2001 and 2002 as well as Breakpoint 2003-2010.
