Feb 24, 2026, 5:07 PMThanks a lot everyone for the support! I am super happy to see that so many people seem to have enjoyed my first article on the blog! 🫶
I am also happy to announce that I have just published the next part in the article series. Both of these articles are leading up to one final article, hopefully to be released later this week.
Hope you enjoy!
Mar 1, 2026, 1:50 PMThe last part in my blog series about the Steam SDK is finally out!
This one ties everything together, and explains what "mod dir" is actually used for, why using STEAMGAMESERVER_QUERY_PORT_SHARED is important, and much more!
This is information that to my knowledge is not documented anywhere else - not even in the Steamworks SDK documentation or in any of the closed partner discussions.
I hope you enjoy 😊
