boundless admiration for the folks in Stockholm who are bicycling very fast across patches of wet leaves, sans helmet

quick Stockholm question: I stopped at a grocery store and bought some salmiak licorice and it is tasty, but it is the kind that is equally sweet and salty. I crave the kind that is aggro: barely sweet at all. any pointers to stores / brands that I should be looking out for would be appreciated

have rain jackets gotten radically better in the last 10 years?

living in the desert I don't have a ton of opportunities to spend all day in the rain, but I did that today in a newish rain jacket and I stayed more or less warm and dry the entire time. this was been impossible with every previous rain jacket I've owned.

this is the product (which has sort of a shocking price, I got mine for much less than this)

I have a long-standing terror of mandoline slicers and just learned that a friend got a bad cut on her hand from one of these.

unless you're inhumanly careful, maybe don't own a mandoline slicer 😬

it has been zero (0) days since a git repo with a protected main branch prevented me from accidentally pushing changes to main 😬

I feel like masking the stack pointer with zero is *not* what we wanted to be doing here

LLVM's InstCombine has become a bit of a monster!
