I have grown surprisingly fond of getting my cards read, the older I get. It's a thing I'd have mocked even a few years ago.

I heard tarot described as telling stories, and I think that fits perfectly. It helps you structure something you're going through through the lens of a series of concepts picked by random chance. A thought experiment, with some nice art too.

Of course it helps that my BFF does it and is very good at it.
