  just fyi: it's not a complete no-ai policy. maintainers still do use it - this is just for external contributions.

  @rimu Where in your link do you read that maintainers use it? They do clarify that their no-genAI policy doesn't apply to themselves, which may definitely be concerning, but as far as their actual genAI use goes, all I see is "Personally, I currently don't use AI to implement changes."
