I welcome replies to my posts, and I will engage with thoughtful replies even if you’re disagreeing with me or pointing out something I may not have considered.

However, I write about the sort of things that attract reactionary trolls and I know it. If it’s clear from your reply that you didn’t spend the time or energy to read or seriously consider what I wrote, I won’t spend the time or energy necessary to correct you. If your argument is in bad faith, I won’t argue. I’ve spent enough time arguing with trolls on the Internet to know how that goes. No one “wins” there. I won’t get through to you, and you certainly aren’t going to change my mind with your bullshit.

If you drop into my replies with some thoughtless reactionary shtick, expect to be blocked without comment. No warnings, no second chances, just a silent block and—poof—I never have to think about you ever again.
