Oh bum, my Tesco delivery for today has been cancelled, because apparently there's a problem with the van. I was half expecting it to be cancelled because of the weather anyway, but it's still a pain.

@Florapis The freezer is pretty well stocked, but I might need to run down to the shop in the village to get some basics / fresh stuff.

@sheepnik are they open Sunday? I used to get about fortnightly deliveries but decided actual shopping about once a month was good for me as I don't actually go anywhere except for the local coop 2 or 3 times a week for fresh stuff. Obviously if I didn't have a car that would not work. It would be an hour and a bit bus to Carmarthen and a limit to what you could carry

@Florapis Yes, the village shop is normally open every day. It has a somewhat eclectic stock, as it caters to both locals and holiday makers, but it's decent.

I'd only done a delivery order for today as we were meant to have visitors this weekend, but they cancelled. Normally I go to the Tesco in Aber once a week. I suppose technically I could go in today, but I don't fancy it with the weather as it is.

@sheepnik weather looks ok from indoors, even some blue sky, but its chilly and windy if you stick your nose out. And Aber is surely one of the windiest towns in the UK

@Florapis It looks to be dry and sunny for most of the day. It's mostly the wind that's the worry, and what that can do to make the small roads not good to travel on.
