Took a walk up the nearest big hill in the pissing rain.
It was nice, even though I returned home soaked to the skin. I’m also really, really unfit apparently. Better get on that this winter.

I do enjoy this time of year though. I tend to hibernate through the summer, but love the cooler, wetter days.
I'd much rather be wet from the rain than from my own sweat. 🤣

Yeah, I mostly enjoyed our extended summer, except the few days where it got stupid. Obviously.
But, yeah, autumn and winter (the extent that we actually experience actual seasons any more) are my favourite. It looks prettier, especially ‘round here, and it’s easier to handle logistically I think:
If you’re too hot, it’s *very* difficult to cool down without access to a body of/running water. If you’re cold it’s way easier to simply put on extra layers

@treharrisboy Exactly! Summers these days are far too sticky and humid to do anything without needing two or three showers a day. 🤣

@swampgas @gavin57 It will get cooler and drier here. Yesterday's high was around 26 C, but it may inch up a couple of more degrees before mid-November when it will basically be perfect around here...
