and to think .... companies paying for slop tokens financed their own netpocalypse. "Adopt or be left behind" kind of has a hollow ring under that light.

@maschinentraum Came here to say basically that. Seems there's always money for the shiny new thing, but never for infrastructure, despite everybody's claim to be so concerned about it.

@naderman @thephpf yeah, with that funding, PHP could look and work like Kotlin, and run on JVM and build Maven and Gradle or GraalVM 😉
