At this point I'm low key convinced that PSL is a CIA psy-op. Very glad I saved all my receipts of very brutal Mao Zedong style struggle sessions from the PSL jerk who bullied me out of DSA for my thought crimes of proposing that we could work on multiple campaigns at once.
I can't speak for the other big C cities in Ohio, but at least here in Cincinnati our socialist groups are overrun by overcaffeinated 20-somethings who are frankly still deprogramming from a lifetime of right-wing Catholic and conservative family socialization. I can't trust them to organize a sock drawer let alone people. When I was bullied out of DSA I decided that my energies are better spent elsewhere and I consider myself a socialist in exile.
like baby the reason we'll probably never have socialism in our lifetimes is that most socialists are so incredibly annoying no one wants to be around them.
