So, I never delete contacts from my phone. Thanks to that, Siri is now recommending I send a happy birthday text to someone who I “dated” for 2 weeks when I was 20. Lol

My favorite part of that was when she asked me why I liked her and I literally couldn’t think of anything and said “I like that you like me.” Hahahah, I was so dumb and immature then, it’s humorous now tho.

@drgroftehauge true but hopefully there is more than that.

We didn’t have any similar interests, except for the fact she was a recent convert to evangelical Christianity and I, at the time, was a “super Christian” (pastor’s kid, had read the Bible cover to cover multiple times, held leadership positions in various church ministries, etc…).

@zed Nah, you just spiff it up a bit. Maybe two weeks in is a bit early to go "you make me feel worthy of love" tho. Honestly rude of her to put you on the spot like that. "You give me butterflies in my stomach" might have worked at that stage.

@drgroftehauge well, it was the conversation that made me realize I didn’t actually like her I just liked having a girlfriend, and about ten minutes later, on the same phone call, I broke up with her.

@zed Makes me think of when a young lady told me I had "nice hands". I was puzzled, until I realized she thought she had to come up with some sort of compliment in the situation 😅
