I'm really bothered by both the manner and degree to which education (formal and informal) lean on "resilience." It's like folks are almost there on understanding, or have to code it in such a way in order to get it passed some BS gatekeeping mechanism.

Resilence becomes how it's the workers' responsibility not just to do their job itself, but to endure selected, systemic conditions around that job. Why is "resilience" required + central?

Still, there's always a chance that this webinar will explore a more multifaceted and realistic idea of responsibility and accountability than I've encountered in the past.

(Hmm... Interesting link preview image, too, which isn't displayed on the website that I can see. Showing a formally dressed white man with their head in their hands seems like a choice. Something about it says AI to me - the hands? The outwardly neutral and utterly smooth face? SIGH.)

@steamworkgroup Yesss, the entire notion of resilience grosses me out whenever I hear it - which I think has only really with any degree of regularity been in the past decade, during which it has become a buzzword to pass the failings of a neolib system off onto the moral character of individuals.
