@leanderlindahl 100% this. Politicians should be where their thoughts and opinions and announcements are protected from corporate greed and are on a platform that is hosted by the country they are representing (Fediverse)

European politicians already do this quite well and a lot are on EU instances on Mastodon. Unfortunately, many other politicians are still on X. I believe X should be banned across Europe. Its main purpose is propaganda and spreading fake news via bots.
