Not a #snake! This is a glass lizard, one of the legless lizards found in the southeastern US.

    ☺️ Is friend-shaped!

A legless lizard cosplaying as a very tiny snake. Its neck is speckled with white tiny splotches, and two brown stripes running dorsally the length of the light brown body from the end of the neck speckles to the stubby tip of the tail that has broken off at some point. The colour is a sign that this is probably a younger one.
